This Air Sampling kit is designed for sampling dedicated High Pressure SCUBA charging systems (including Oxygen Compatible Air systems) as well as LP air systems. It is light weight and compact to keep shipping cost low. The adapter to connect to your SCUBA charging system is built into the sampler. Several adapters are put in the kit depending on the air system. These include a 346/347 fitting for SCBA flasks, and an LP air hose adapter. If you need to sample a flask directly, we include a pipe fitting and additional instructions.. Any part you install is finger tight only; no wrenches are needed, even for high pressure air.
Please note that to keep shipping cost low, the normal kit contains parts to obtain a single sample. If you need to pull two samples, tell us before we ship it. Notice that the standard kit is a foam filled box. After you take your sample, you will send the entire box back to us. We discard the box, refurbish and check all parts for cleanliness..
If you have a special arrangement or if you purchased a kit, you will receive all your supplies to cover the entire year, you will be returning only the parts you used, not the entire sampling kit. The advantage of this is a reduced shipping cost to receive as well as return the samples for analysis.
If you have an application where you need to pull a sample from an empty SCUBA tank or a closed compartment, tell us. We will send you our manual hand pump and a special fitting.. This is the same pump shown in the section called Sampling Any Chamber.
